本會簡介

Introduction

We are to propagate the Kuan-Kung spirit of loyalty and justice; to preach traditional moral cultures; to practice the Three Relations and Five Principles; to purify the minds of people by Benevolence, Sense of Right and Wrong, Sense of Ritual, Wisdom, and Faithfulness; to open a whole new world for the culture of faith; to initiate the revelation of human's positive minds. Hopefully, we can instill the spirit of loyalty and justice into the society and do our best to practice “loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, love, honesty, justice, and peace” and the Kuan-Kung's motto: “to read the good books, to say the good words, to do the good things, and to be the good persons,” and pass our Chinese traditional faith and moral cultures on to the next generation.

The founder of our association had the chance to take part in the establishment of “Chinese Dang-Yang Kuan-Kung Culture Association” in Dang Yang City , Hu Pei , China . Hoping to promote the religious and cultural interaction between China and Taiwan, she established “Taiwan Kuan Kung Culture Association” after coming back to the island, and planed to hold some celebrations on the Birthday of Kuan Kung (June 22nd in the lunar calendar) every year, or to join the activities held by Chinese Dang-Yang Kuan-Kung Culture Association. We held a Kuan-Kung statue exhibition activity “Yi Huen Guan Shen ( 義魂關聖 )” in The Grand Hotel in the year 2003, and the symposium “Sweeping of Soul Tortures” in 2004. Our association will hold various activities and forums at any times. All members relate to one another by worshiping the Kuan-Kung spirit of loyalty and justice, the faith of integrity .

What are the Goals, Aims, Missions and Responsibilities of the Association?
【Goals】
	To propagate Kuan’s spirits of loyalty and justice; advocate the traditional moral cultures.
	To lead the public to practice “Raising the Senses of Morality and Awakening the Spirits of Loyalty and Justice.”
	To practice the Three Relations and Five Principles; to purify the minds of people by Benevolence, Sense of Right and Wrong, Sense of Ritual, Wisdom, and Faithfulness.
	To work together to give Taiwan a new life; to fill the society with the atmosphere of practicing the motto “to read the good books, to say the good words, to do the good things, and to be the good persons.”
【Aims】
	The aim of the Association is “To propagate the Chinese religious culture and to advocate the spirit of loyalty and justice of Kuan Kung.”
【Missions】
	To hold lectures for the members to learn the Kuan’s spirits of loyalty and justice.
	To hold various exhibition activities of related cultural or historical relics.
	To hold various charity activities in cooperation with governments and organizations.
	To advocate the Kuan’s motto “to read the good books, to say the good words, to do the good things, and to be the good persons.”
	To propagate the Chinese religious culture with assorted Kuan religious groups from around the world.
	To advocate the idea of “Taking care of one self’s seniors and others’ as well, of one self’s juniors and others’ as well.”
	To hold any other related activities.
	To publish any other related publications.

The Essentials of Our Development

Time of Establishment

˙	The founder madam Yuen Chun Jen register for the establishment at Ministry of the Interior in Nov. 20 th , 1999.

The First Generation (1999.11~
2003.06)

The six statues of the “ Imperial Sovereign Saint Kuan ( 關聖帝君 ) ” characterized the first generation . The meaning of those is “takeover and discipline”; the six pieces of work are crafted by the national treasure master Chuan Liu (deceased). Those works contain strong force, resonating with people with loyalty and justice. Many st atues and pieces of works were donated for charity bazaar during the disastrous 921-earthquake period to rebuild homes and schools.

The Second Generation (2003.7~
2004.8)

Continuing the works of the first generation, the second generation, in July 2003, planned to associate with the public and accomplish the great missions by means of the “ Imperial Sovereign Saint Kuan ”holy article of “From The God's Blessings ( 奉天承運 ). ” We also held the birth celebration “Yi Huen Guan Shen ( 義魂關聖 )” at the Grand Hotel in July 23 rd , 1993 (lunar June 24 th ), and gained lots of feverish responses. It is an activities in which our members displayed their “Going out for Justice” to glorify Kuan Kung's spirit and promote the kind-heartedness of the society. The characterizing token is “Yi Huen Guan Shen ( 義魂關聖 ) – Document of Troops Dispatch ( 出師表 )”—meaning practicing the spirit of loyalty and justice.

The tokens are widely sent to the public, representatives, and the local directors of public offices, etc.; hopefully, they could spark the positive thinking and behavior by their force of justice.

In August 9 th , 2004 (lunar June 24 th), we held the symposium “Sweeping of Soul Torture” at The Grand Hotel to celebrate the birth of 1845-year-old “ Imperial Sovereign Saint Kuan ( 關聖帝君 ) , ” manifesting the “Conversion of Negative Force into Positive One,” with the “Heart Plate” as the token of force transformation.

During Feb 18 th to 20 th , 2005, we co-held with the Tainan City council the nation-wide traveling exhibition “Kuan Buddha-Holy Emperor,”in which we offered free services, such as “Fortune Pouch”, “Hope Card”, and “Justice Cut”, “Justice Face”, ”Soul Counseling ”, and so forth. There are also exhibitions of Shi Wan clay-made “Kuan-Kung holy statue”, “World Holy Kuan ( 寰宇關聖 ) ” big plates, and “Universe in the Hands ( 掌運乾坤 ) ” small plates.

˙	經由會員熱心贊助順利於「協會」裝置一套莊博士「佛性水」之設備，並於國曆四月十三日（上午8時）正式啟用，免費提供與會員及因緣者飲用。

During June 6 th to 8 th , 2005, we co-held the nation-wide traveling exhibition “Kuan Buddha-Holy Emperor,” with Kaohsiung City Bureau of Culture, also with the help from Kaohsiung City council, Yi-Da hospital, Chan-Shen clinic, Comic City Newspaper, etc. We also offered free services like “Fortune Pouch”, “Force Fortune Card”, “Hope Card” and “Justice Cut”, “Justice Diagnosis”, ”Soul Counseling ”, sharing “Buddhism Life”, etc. by digital teachers. There are also series of “Holy Statue of Kuan Kung” art works by internationally well-known pottery master Chuan Liu, famous “Calligraphy and Painting” exhibition and “World Holy Kuan ( 寰宇關聖 ) ” big plates, and “Universe controlled in the Hands ( 掌運乾坤 ) ” small plates.

A series of activities for the year 1846 Birthday Celebration of “ Imperial Sovereign Saint Kuan ”: We invited celebrities from diverse fields to join the one of the nation-wide Moral Exhibition Series “Raising the Senses of Morality and Awakening the Spirits of Loyalty and Justice.” The aim of the rally is to gain support for the activities; to instill deeper understanding of the meaning of them; to live together up to the expectations; and to inspire the “Morality” and “Senses of Loyalty and Justice” to give Taiwan a whole new life. (Hold in Taipei Howard Hotel Dining Hall in July 28, 2005 )

In July 29, 2005 (June 24 in lunar calendar), we hold the birthday activity “The Spirits of Loyalty and Justice, the Hands of Benevolence, and the Train of Morality” to manifest the devotion of our members. The tokens were “the Spirits of Loyalty and Justice”, “the Hands of Benevolence”, “the Train of Morality.” The aims of them are to use the “spirits” and the “hands” to practice the traditional Five Principles “ Benevolence, Sense of Right and Wrong, Sense of Ritual, Wisdom, and Faithfulness” and to inspire the “Morality” and “Senses of Loyalty and Justice” together to purify the minds of people of the society.

˙	The sticker was made by all of our members synergistically: “Let’s together raise the sense of morality in Taiwan—to read the good books, to say the good words, to do the good things, and to be the good persons.” The vehicles were attached with advertisements for the activity.。
